Set Up Your Password Policy

To set up your password policy:

1.  Go to the Menu at the top of the page, go to the System section, and select System Preferences.  The Password Policy section is the first section on the page.

2.  You can change the default password expiry period (90 days) or leave it as it is.  When the expiry date arrives, users will still be able to login, but they’ll be prompted to reset their password.

3.  You can change the default password requirements or leave them as is.  If your organization has upgraded from Pirouette version 4, your passwords will continue to work in version 5.  However, when you reset a password, you’ll be prompted to select one that meets your version 5 Password Policy requirements.

4.  When you are finished, save and close the record.
