Requirements
|
Pirouette is typically installed on a Windows server using Microsoft SQL Server and a single installation can handle hundreds of users.
Alternatively, if you just want Pirouette for a single user, it can be installed on a Windows 2000, XP, or Vista PC using the free Microsoft SQL Server Express.
If you aren't comfortable installing the software or don't have the appropriate hardware, consider our hosting service. We'll send you a web link to your Pirouette install
and you'll be up and running with a minimum of effort.

Client Computers Accessing a Pirouette Server
|
There are very few requirements necessary to access your Pirouette server - most computers can be used, even
significantly older machines with a suitable web browser. The following list of features is only meant
to be a guideline.
- Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, 2000, or XP (Home or Professional), Vista
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later.
- Pentium III processor - 1GHz or higher
- 128MB RAM
- Internet connection
